• You will play and evaluate an online educational game.
• Create a new page in your edu290_folder and save it as online_game.
• Complete the following questions. (You may just select-copy-paste the following 9 questions into your new page.)
• Answers to most the questions should be just about a paragraph long with a relatively in-depth analysis.
  
• It will be a good idea if two of you evaluate the same game. You play the game and work together to answer all the questions but type and create your web page individually.

Where to find online educational games?

• You can use a search engine and search "online educational games".
• You can go to games.yahoo.com to check out some really neat games on spellings and strategies.
• Here is a list of sites with online educational games you can evaluate: (Some links might take a while to load and some probably no longer exist.

1. Who owns this Website. Is the Website commercial free or commercial related? How do you know?

2. Who is the audience of the game? How do you know this? Does the game meet the needs of the targeted audience (You make a personal judgment)?

3. What is this educational game about?

What type of game is it? Or is it a combination of two types?
- Drill and Practice
- Simulation
- Discovery Program (including puzzles)
- Problem Solving

You need to identify the category for your game and explain why the game belongs to this category in a couple of sentences. If it is "drill and practice", then explain what it drills and practices. If it is a "simulation", then explain what the simulation is. If the game is both "simulation" and "problem solving", you need to explain both, which is the case with a lot of games.
