----------------------------------------------------------------

Over the years many people have asked if I could post more photographs as
well as sound samples of the musical instrument-making projects on
my webpage. Trouble is that my webpage provider has a 1 megabyte total
limit for webpage space.

Because of this, I have made an off-line CD that has on it not
only my full (and expanded) webpage but also some 650
photographs that there is not room to put on my on-line webpage.
These photos show details of my instruments. The CD also contains 57
short .wav & .MP3 sound files to let you hear what these instruments
sound like.

In May 2007 I added a short video showing the playing of seven instruments
(3-string banjo; 20 lb LP tank "tambiro";Fiddle-Gurdy; full-size
4-string upright washtub bass; guitar-to-hardanger fiddle conversion;
Low-D tinwhistle and guitar-to-octave mandolin conversion.)
A couple more videos were added later.

Besides the new photos, sound files & videos, this CD contains
some additional information and updates on a number of the
instruments. It also contains information on and photos of a few
"new" instruments and ideas. The CD works thorough any web
browser -- as if it were an online webpage.

This CD also contains a 28 page booklet I wrote about 20 years ago
showing how one can easily learn to play the fiddle using a
tablature/paper-"fret" system. It contains tablature and playing
instructions for 21 fiddle tunes. This booklet is not very fancy
at all, but it works.

If you'd like a copy of this CD, please send me $10.00 (U.S).
I'll pay the shipping. If you live outside the USA and Canada,
please send the equivalent of about $12 US (or 10 Euros) to make
up for the additional postage.
