I haven't watched MTV in at least ten years. But even still, this really feels like a betrayal. Rock and roll SHOULD be about protest. But then, I guess MTV hasn't been even remotely outlaw since 1983.

Teachers Flee Michigan to Find Jobs

This article, from last Sunday's Detroit Free Press/News, confirmed my increasingly obvious suspicion that there is a positively huge glut of teachers in the dying state of Michigan. After reading this, I fully understood why my phone isn't ringing, nor are the phones of any of my teacher friends.
