Ted Rall: Confessions of a Cultural Elitist
Here is another scathing op-ed piece from political cartoonist Ted Rall. In it, he details why HE thinks big cities on the east and west coasts, and thus the states in which these cities reside, vote blue. Having myself lived in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, and Portland, I'd say he's right. But my favorite thing about this piece is how unapologetic he is when addressing Bush voters. We hear all this namby-pamby talk about making nice with these people. But when your dog pees on your carpet, you don't coddle it. You rub it's nose in it. Or perhaps whack em in the schnoz with a rolled up newspaper. I've always said that Bush voters should be shunned, and it is what I am doing in MY life. So hop to it. The next Republican you see, whack em in the nose with a rolled-up newspaper. And you should shout, angrily, at them, "NO!" ""See what you did? Bad voter!"
