The New York Times: Americans Show Clear Concerns on Bush Agenda

Bush was quick to claim an electoral mandate despite his narrow popular vote win. But now this new New York Times poll shows that a majority of Americans are decidedly lukewarm about his second term agenda. For example, a solid 2/3 majority of Americans think that dealing with the deficit is a more important priority than further cutting taxes, as Bush plans.
