My Letter to Local Talk Radio

One thing we can do, post-election, is work to balance out the right wing echo chamber with some of that mythical liberla media. For example, yesteryday I wrote to the local AM station about carrying the Al Franken Show:

Mr. Carey,

You’re probably going to get a few emails at the urging of the local Dems, but I have, in fact, wanted to contact you for some time now about the possibility of carrying the Al Franken Show, in addition to Rush and O’Reilly. And given that 48% of the country voted for Kerry (or against Bush) AND that Kerry won Isabella County, if just barely, you would certainly have listeners. For me, I would LOVE to be able to listen to Al every day when I’m out running. I would schedule my running around your broadcast schedule, no question about it.

But I’m only one listener. ;)
