Blah Blah Blah
Hey.
I never blog much about the blah blah blah of my personal life. That's because it IS so blah blah blah. Which I love, BTW. I am having such a terrific summer. I am reading a lot, keeping myself informed, and getting into the best shape of my (recent) life. My weight is at 187 pounds now. It's not going down TOO fast, but, hey, I’m not a kid anymore. Still, I’m quite happy with it. I broke out all my old 33-waist jeans last week. And they’re loose!
The real trick, of course, will be keeping the weight off during the worst of winter. And the thought of the coming winter, and how much I am benefiting, healthwise, from the summer weather, has me again thinking of California. If I could live in Santa Barbara, I could run in shorts year-round! Hmmmmmm. It’s certainly a thought.
School starts up again on the 30th, a little over two weeks from now. The summer has gone by quickly. I look forward to school starting again, but at the same time, an endless summer wouldn’t be bad either. If my retirement will be like this, only with more money and less agility, I’ll take it! :)
Hope you’re well.
