Ennui Over!
I think I was dealing with some of the usual post-semester ennui, but this beautiful day has snapped me right the eff out of it. Now that my post-semester period of pouting is complete, summer can begin. :)
Okay, this CD is simply astounding. I have a sneaking suspicion that it's going to be the soundtrack to my summer. It's called Unrelenting Songs of the 1979 Post Disco Crash, and it seems to be made up of samples from songs dating back to 1979. Much like the M CD that I got last weekend, it has me feeling like I'm 10 again. But this is different. It's less nostalgia, as this guy, Jason Forrest, has taken something from my youth and thrown it into a blender (tired metaphor, I know) and poured me something completely 2004. Wow. By all means, check it out.
