Live from Daytona!
Well, spring break 2004 is officially over. It feels weird going back to school. It seems a lifetime ago. I had intended to get all kinds of schoolwork done, but all I did was read three novels. The best of which, BTW, was Leave Myself Behind by Bart Yates.
The new TV show Wonderfalls premiered this weekend. Good stuff. I laughed my proverbial ass off quite a few times, which we all know is actually quite rare.
I also watched the premiere of Playing it Straight. As a rule, I despise the reality TV genre, which, apart from American Idol, is a profound insult to my intelligence. But I couldn't resist this one. The girl in this one is beautiful (SO my type!), but dull. The fun part, of course, is trying to guess which guys are gay. I've been wrong two times, so far, out of two, so it's not TOO obvious.
Finally, I have a critter underneath my house. It sounds like a cat. Very weird. Creepy almost.
Ah well, back to the CMU grind. Eight more weeks left and then a summer of sipping Oberon out on the deck. I can't wait!
