| The primary school is located in COMMUNITY 6.The curriculum at Ghana International School is based on the British
rather than the North American model. The Infant and Junior sections
use the English National Curriculum, modified to take account of Ghana's
geographical and historical setting. Students learn about English,
mathematics, science, history, geography, information technology, music,
art and physical education.
GIS is a non-sectarian school and welcomes families of all faiths. There is no religious instruction or worship. Matters of morality and citizenship are addressed in the Values and Ethics program throughout the school.
