EDUCATION CENTRAL is an electronic communication and resource center for professional educators. It is a vehicle by which all educators can exchange views and experience, questions and answers, broaden their collegial associations, discuss educational issues and policy, and easily find resources related to professional education. EDUCATION CENTRAL offers: an Internet E-Mail account gopher and full Internet gopherspace search capability, Usenet discussion groups, FTP site, space for user home pages, and several local and international discussion groups directly addressing educational issues. To receive a user account on EdCen, one must agree to the Acceptable Use Contract and provide registration and identification information by completing and mailing the Registration Contract.
